"I am not one who was born in the custody of wisdom. I am one who is fond of olden times and intense in quest of the sacred knowing of the ancients." Gustave Courbet

Liberation.

Poortvliet, Sentry, 1979

Even as fire finds peace
in its resting place without fuel,
when thoughts become silence
the soul finds peace in its own source.

When the mind is silent,
then it can enter into a world
which is far beyond the mind:
the highest End.

The mind should be kept in the heart
as long as it has not reached the highest End.
This is wisdom, and this is liberation.
